What did our young curlers learn?

Sweeping was a popular technique. Manitoba men’s lead Cole Chandler said “I’ve learned what it means to be a closed and open sweeper.” and Alberta men’s third Jason Wilson admitted “That I’ve got to work on my sweeping.”

Marcia Richardson, lead for the Ontario women’s team commented “I learned that for my sweeping, I need to get my push foot out farther so my steps are bigger.” As far as delivery goes, Wisconsin women’s second Rachel Kawleski said “I learned more about where I should place my broom when throwing.”
